Local influencers join forces to bring the biggest engineering festival to the North East for a third year

Bring It On North East has been made possible again this year due to the solid backing of engineering professionals from across the region.

 

Bowman Bradley, Regional Chair of IMechE, Thomas Chacko, President of Sunderland Rotary, Moira Shaftoe, Business Partnerships Manager North East of Engineering UK and Carol Harrison, Bring It On North East Project Manager of RTC North have come together again this year pull the spectacular two-day celebration of engineering opportunities across the region.

 

Sunderland-based RTC North are once again managing all aspects of planning and co-ordination of Bring It On, working closely with founding members.

 

Janine Marshall, RTC North member of the event committee commented:

 

“It is absolutely brilliant to see RTC North collaborating with highly-respected local institutions and businesses once again this year to bring the biggest event celebrating engineering opportunities across the region to Sunderland.

 

“It has been a rewarding journey working together with the team here at RTC as well as the committee to really showcase the wide scope of careers available to young people in the North East as well as to raise the profile of engineering as an exciting career choice for them pursue.”

 

The event is the culmination of a successful collaboration between a number of different organisations from across the region working together to inspire young people about North East engineering.

 

Carol Harrison, Bring It On Project Manager said:

 

“Working closely with representatives of such well-respected establishments like IMechE, Engineering UK and Rotary is both a real honour and a great pleasure for myself and my colleagues at RTC North. We look forward to the most successful of all Bring It On event this October, result of our fruitful relationships with partners across the region.”

 

Bring It On North East is to take place on 9th and 10th October at the Beacon of Light in Sunderland.
