Part of the Newcastle-based Reece Group, Pearson Engineering are important in the design and production of military equipment such as military vehicles and their parts. Speaking to engineers, Chris, Jack and Sangita, we learned how integral problem-solving is to their job roles, and how important skills in maths, science, coding and the ability to be naturally creative are if you want to pursue this career path!

In this episode our eyes are opened to what goes on behind the scenes in the development of tanks and mine-clearance vehicles, how solutions for covert tracking without being able to rely on GPS are crucial and how we can liken the design process of these vehicles to creating a 20 tonne Lego model!
